Event Ticket Policy
By Purchasing an Event Ticket from us you agree to the following terms:
Event ticket purchases allow for entry into the corresponding event.
Event Ticket Purchases DO NOT Equate to purchases of physical or digital product. In the event that a customer buys a ticket for an event that utilizes physical or digital product to run, a customer has to play in the event at minimum 1 round in order to receive said product. If a customer violates this policy Evanston Games reserves the right to cancel the order with all fees being paid by the customer, requiring additional fees and taxes paid by the customer, and/or refusal of service to said customer.
Event specific promotional product is only available if an individual plays in the event associated with said promotional material, minimum of 1 round, whether the event is paid or free.
Customers must contact the store within 24 hours of the event if they are no longer able to play after purchase of a ticket, the ticket may be refunded but product can not be dispensed.
If the event does not run due to a problem i.e. event runner not available, not enough people, product unavailable, the store will refund the ticket along with any fees to the customers with the choice of the refund going to the customer's store credit or original payment.
For Magic the Gathering events: Players must have a wizards account and the ability to use the wizard's companion app. Staff can assist with account creation if a customer does not have one.
For Pokemon events: Players must have a Play Pokemon account to enter competitive events or receive promotional product associated with Play Pokemon events. Staff can assist with account creation if a customer does not have one.
For One Piece and Gundam TCG Events: Players must have a Bandai TCG+ app and account and the ability to use said app to participate in the events. Staff can assist with account creation if a customer does not have one.
