Gym Leader Challenge (GLC) is a fun alternative way to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
For those new to the format, the basic rules are: each deck may only use Pokémon of 1 type, each deck may only contain 1 copy of any non-Basic Energy cards, and no Rule Box (such as Pokémon ex Pokémon V) or ACE SPECs are allowed. Build a deck using your favorite Pokémon cards released from Black & White to the present.
Rounds will use the Swiss-system, meaning players won't be eliminated as the tournament goes on, but instead paired with players who have a similar record. Games during Swiss rounds will be best of 1 with a 40-minute timer. The total number of rounds will be dependent on the number of attendees.
Decklists can be emailed ahead of time to events@evanstongames.com, and we will have blank ones available to fill out the day of the event. Images from limitlesstcg's deck builder tool as well as photos are acceptable for decklist submission. If using a photo, please make sure all card names are legible.
This tournament will coincide with our usual Sunday afternoon Pokémon League, so if you're a regular who's curious about GLC, we encourage you to give it a try! We will host GLC on the last Sunday of each month.
Each player will receive a prize pack for participation. Further prizing will depend on overall attendance and personal performance.
If we get at least 9 players, a Champion Playmat will be added to the prize pool for the winner.
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after purchasing your item to request and have come in for a refund. If the item was shipped or already picked up, contact us at evanstongamer@gmail.com to begin the return process. Once we have received the item we will issue your refund.
If the item was purchased for local pickup, you have 30 days to pick up your order or contact us to make arrangements. After 23 days, we will send you an e-mail reminder to the address you used to place the order. If we have not heard from you within 7 days of that e-mail, the items will be restocked. We cannot offer a refund once 30 days has elapsed.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned or exchanged, like open product, card singles, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and perishable goods (such as food, or drink). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Tax is not included in exchanges.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
